Why this exists
Agent tooling directories tend to stop at a name, a logo, and a link. That's fine for browsing, but it's not enough to actually decide whether to install something — you still have to open the repository yourself to find out what environment variables it needs, what runtime it expects, or whether it's been touched in the last year.
SkillForAgents catalogs Claude Agent Skills and MCP servers side by side, organized by the use case they solve rather than by vendor, with that technical detail surfaced on every listing instead of buried in a README.

What each status badge means
Maintained by the original author or org, in an actively maintained repository. Most official reference servers and first-party skills fall here.
Functional and useful, but no longer under active development by its original maintainer — for example, a reference server that's been moved to an archive repository.
Submitted but not yet independently checked against its source. Treat with the same caution you'd apply to any unaudited dependency.
